Deployed ocis master 2020-12-11 13:30h via hetzner-deploy/make_ocis_test.sh -> ocis/deployments/examples/ocis_traefik/

  • log in as einstein
  • upload a png file
  • create a public link on the png file.
  • open the link in a fresh browser session
  • a folder with only that one file is shown. OK.
  • the file has no thumbnail. BAD
  • click the file to open it in media viewer. It fails. BAD

Expected behaviour: Anonymous users should also have access to thumbnails and media viewer.

PDF viewer also fails:

When trying the option open in different viewer, a local PDF viewer is started, but seems to receive a zero-sized document:

But "download" works fine from the public link. Firefox asks "display in firefox" and that display works.

Retested with a
deployed web-1.0.0 into docker run -ti --rm -v $HOME/oc10-mnt-data:/mnt/data -p 8080:8080 owncloud/server:10.6.0
using https://owncloud.github.io/clients/web/deployments/oc10-app/

  • Media viewer fails
  • thumbnails work

Retested in 1.0.2

  • thumbnails and mediaviewer for images work.
  • mediaviewer for videos fails:
