…tdin (fix cosmos#9566) (backport cosmos#9821) (cosmos#9880) * fix: file keyring fails to add/import/export keys when input is not stdin (fix cosmos#9566) (cosmos#9821) ## Description Add a test case to reproduce the issue described in cosmos#9566. The test currently fails, and I've pointed some possible solutions over cosmos#9566 (comment). But I feel this needs more works in order to provide a more robust solution. I'll keep poking at better options, but taking any pointers if anyone has ideas. What is the purpose of the change
Osmosis-sdk v0.42.x with:
Additions
Subtractions
Acceptance criteria
This PR only counts once osmosis v3.2.x has synced with it, with fast node and pebble enabled.
Conclusion
Because the upstream cosmos-sdk ran tests conditionally, and the needed files didn't change, the harsh, bare reality is that every sdk 42.x fails this race condtion:
git clone https://github.com/cosmos/cosmos-sdk --branch release/v0.42.x cd cosmos-sdk make test-all
will replicate this race condition. Osmosis has corrected the issues with CI, so the issues are visible on the osmosis-labs/cosmos-sdk repository, but are not visible in the cosmos-sdk repository.
Further evidence of this can be seen here:
what to do?
I think that in the readme file of sdk v0.42.x in both osmosis and upstream, we should note this issue and proceed.
Brief Changelog
Testing and Verifying
This PR must be manually verified by syncing osmosis as an archive node from genesis to tip.
