Select inputText detect "tab" press

I've been trying to detect a tab key press inside the input box inside the Select component (specifically an editable one) https://v18.primeng.org/select#editable

onBlur works fine for detected a blur event but that encompasses all types of blur events and I specifically need to detect the tab press. keydown doesn't fire a KeyboardEvent on tab press either.

Does anyone know how I could do this?
