Looking for more customizable Plot panel

The Plot panel now is pretty smooth, but I wonder whether it support more customizability: for example, series with different timestamp sets. Currently all of the series share the same x values, i.e. for 3 series y1, y2, y3, I can only plot (x, y1), (x, y2), (x, y3) where x is a shared timestamp. Is it possible to assign the x value for each series separately, i.e. (x1, y1), (x2, y2), (x3, y3)?

I tried to build an extension but the Plot panel is too complicated (especially for me with almost zero frontend development experience) and I cannot reuse the components in studio-base (not included in the extension example and deprecated in npm). Is it possible to have a Plot panel as an extension so that I can modify it?
