Same here, been having issues with it for at least a couple weeks now. There's been maybe a couple days where they showed for maybe a couple hours, but otherwise completely missing. Something seems pretty broken under the hood around this. Not sure if it's related to the cause of this, but I have 133 starred repos. |

Here is the answer to your problem , do mark it as an answer if you gys found it useful .... Marking this as answer found help the others with the same problem . Hope you understand , here is the solution to your problem below . @Elelan No its not because you have starred too many repos , may be its off in settings or if , you are confident that you have not really messed something up in setting then the problem must be the cache that's stored in your browser for too long either try changing the browser and logging your github in a separate browser or try clearing the cache of the site , this would log you out of github but when you log back in it must be solved . @EthyMoney |

@Rawknee-69 how do you have so much confidence it's at all related to a browser cache issue? There's so many reports of the feed being broken especially recently (this one included). Absolutely this is a GH issue. Almost like they implemented the feed in a way where the query times out extremely quickly and they return the error instead. |

@MeganHRKingley At least in my case, the network request and the frontend display are working as they should. The issue is with the data being returned from Github's servers. It's often incomplete. Because the issue lies on githubs side, there isn't anything we can do. There are posts that suggest clearing cache/cookies, etc. None of that will have an effect. We just need to wait on Github to fix the server response. In the meantime, there is an available alternative: https://kieranp.github.io/Github-Releases-Feed/ |

I'm currently attempting to use Follow to receive Releases push notifications. Although the adding process is rather troublesome and there is a limit on the number of RSS for inactive accounts, the good news is that I can receive the push messages normally. |

@MrOwen @Elelan @everyone it's now a well known bug 🐛 since 2 weeks and GitHub enginners are really tinkering with their code and figuring out wht's causing this issue , according to latest Intel there is not much really progress on their end , but they are working on it.. |

Oh I'm sure they know what's causing the issue 🤣 Probably some inefficient query that's being blasted every day by all of us. You'll notice the request always cuts out around 5 seconds; I'm sure the query would take longer than that to complete if they let it. Suits upstairs are saying this dumb feed is costing too much money. I'm sure they'll need to implement some caching mechanism, etc etc. |

Hmm probably, i also thought that cuz its true it's cuts every 5 second but when I switch to a vpn and try it , it doesn't this means that the database of that region didn't have this bug replicated and hence they work fine and the ones been affected well you all know ... , iam sure they don't wanna handle database stuffs for sure it real pain in a** |

Today out of nowhere my feed is working perfectly fine, 6pm EST. Every single stared repository is popping on github android app. 🤞 But anyway over the weekend I put few thing together to have star repository releases over RSS app (practically any with opml support) working. If anyone interested,

Our team works on an adjacent product area but because the Feed is highly trafficked and used; although we aren't the Feed team per se, we have been working internally to see if there are parts of the logic or infrastructure that we can fix to help you all have a better experience. You should be able to see the content from releases so that is a major bug that I will flag back with the team. @OneSeven Based on some github employee posts in other threads, they are currently testing some database tweaks/optimizations to improve the situation. These appear to be working for some users, and not for others. They anticipate having the issue resolved some time in Q1 2025. |

Feed did indeed work for some time and showed releases, albeit only after several filter reloads, but still. However, now the same problem has returned and for several days, nothing has helped me. I suppose it's time to revert to third-party solutions. |

I'm only interested in Releases section of the Feed. I was tracking latest release updates from my starred repositories without any issue so far.
Recently this is not working. Even when i select Releases only in the filter, it is not showing releases anymore
