Happy birthday github ! i've been using a lot the student pack, primarily with the pages (github pro) and the namecheap domain. I also enjoy the gitkraken pro and all the vscode integrations a lot ! I feel like the student pack allowed me to discover all the Web configuration part of website making, and i enjoyed it a lot. Looking forward to get a new domain with hack club ! I wish for the pack to live long and to make more students discover new parts of programming ! |

It's been invaluable for me as a learning tool for DevOps. DevOps pros presume use of GitHub. If one wants to join the ranks of the most desirable professionals -- and the job opportunities that come with it, the Student Developer Pack is a must-have. Thanks, GitHub! (This post was not AI generated, BTW.) |

having access to the entire jetbrains suite is nice, but the tool in the developer pack that i use daily is copilot. there have been times when i'm stuck on a problem so i just right click the debugger error in my code, and copilot explains the problem with context. and then codespaces. god i love codespaces. my school laptop is a chromebook. it's not that i can't code on it, it's just that codespaces is so much easier to manage and sync across other devices. thank you github for saving me hours of pain by providing these tools i'd never be able to buy for myself as a full-time student. |

Hi, thanks to your github pack, I've improved like a lot. Thanks to JetBrains pack, I was able to finally comfortable write code in many languages. I'VE BEEN JETBRANIZED (I CAN'T USE ANYTHING BESIDES THIS). I've also created my personal portfolio on PC, which was first hosted on your .tech domain pack. I learned how to make it using your Educative pack. Here's repo: https://github.com/BudzioT/Portfolio-v2 Thanks to the CodeDex pack, I was able to learn python and develop a few projects including this one: https://github.com/BudzioT/Sideways-Shooter I've also used CoPilot. Used is not even a word. I'VE BEEN USING IT NON-STOP. Like it doesn't write code for me, but it helps me with debbugging so much! Thanks to this, I've finally wrote my Chip8-Emulator. I've used DataCamp too, which helped me understand many things about data with Python. GitHub is so amazing with its developer pack that... Yeah... quite a lot lately! **Thanks GitHub team, community and everyone. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!** |

The student pack is what got me into git and GitHub in the first place. Without GitHub, I would have most likely never gotten as far as I did in programming, since I have learned so much from simply browsing code on here. I've mainly used copilot, which works fantastic on most of my projects, but also for explaining other people's sometimes obscure and non-documented spaghetti code. Anyways, Happy Birthday, GitHub! |

The GitHub Student Developer Pack has been really helpful for me in my studies. Premium tools like GitHub Pro and JetBrains IDEs specially for PyCharm that help to start my journey of Python Code, along with free educational resources included in the pack, have inspired me to explore new areas like Data Science and Machine Learning And I am also pursuing BS Degree for IIT Madras in Data Science and this pack gives me lots of tools to learn new Technology. I'm looking forward to getting as much benefit as I can from using the pack✨ |

My story with GitHub Education is curious, when I was 13-14 I started finding computers interesting and used Discord so I "learnt" how to develop Discord bots and by that I found GitHub, to host the code and that. Later I found out about github education idk why, had to ask the IT of my school to open the email firewall so I could use my educational email address and finally managed to join GitHub Education, it was amazing, I was able to find so many awesome products and use stuff that I couldnt have ever used otherwise. It also helped me find Hack club which is an amazing community for students, thanks GitHub :) 🐮 |

The Github Student Developer pack changed my coding career. For context I am a UC Davis 🐮 student studying Data Science and Economics, and in my Computer Science and Data Science courses I meet many students without the Student Developer Pack. It astonishes me that they don't have it. I wouldn't be the developer I am without it, so I always introduce and highly recommend it to my fellow students. By far, my favorite tool is Copilot. It saves me SO MUCH time. It makes removes any time spent researching how to write random functions or do little processes and lets me focus on the LOGIC behind the code rather than the syntax. Specifically, it's super efficient at writing out those long winded Pandas dataframe dynamic modifications. I owe so much to Copilot and the Student Developer Pack. It gives me so much freedom as it makes me feel like an efficient developer. It helps keep me in that flow state of programming as it negates many interruptions caused by necessary W3 Schools and Stack Overflow visits. Genuinely wouldn't be able to create so many things without it. Happy Birthday Student Developer Pack! 🥳 |

First of all, Happy Birthday, GitHub Student Developer Pack! 🎉 I owe a huge thanks to the GitHub Student Developer Pack. It has truly accelerated my learning in multiple areas over the past few months. With the help of JetBrains DataGrip, I powered through learning SQL and was able to connect it with my Java applications developed in IntelliJ. Being able to visualize the structure of the database graphically has really helped me understand how my code works. Along with SQL, I've also furthered my knowledge of MongoDB along the way. If I had to choose one benefit from the pack, I would certainly choose the JetBrains IDE offer because it has been (and will probably continue to be) the most significant in my learning journey as a developer. Apart from that, I'm looking forward to using Copilot to enhance my workflow efficiency. |

Thanks to the GitHub Student Developer Pack, I became a better programmer by learning to work without all the fancy tools, since the verification flow is seriously broken in several ways and has not been fixed for years 🙃. |

Happy 10th birthday celebration of GitHub Student Developer Pack and many more to come, here's my story!I was practicing coding during a frontend development course in October '22 when I came to know about GitHub and created an account. I was not familiar and neither had neither had friends to guide so it remained inactive for the first couple of months. I started participating in coding challenges and attending tech events where the LinkedIn connections turned to friends and she said about student developer pack and I registered for it the very next day. One of the awesome tools I got to know was Copilot which helped me rectify my code if there was an error and showed code suggestions which was totally cool. I haven't used GitHub much before applying for the student pack but to be honest, I love the codespace feature and do coding there a lot. It's easier to make changes in small repositories in codespace without having to actually clone the repo. I have been practicing git commands, learning and documenting them while also learning about several functionalities of GitHub. I have dedicated time to actively completing the learning tasks from GitHub education and learning GitHub workflow on YouTube and how to configure those packages. Once I learn about the configuration I want to make use of it in my existing projects. |

Happy birthday GitHub SDP✨!!IntroI started my journey with the student developer pack in my second year of university. Before then, I had no prior coding experience and contemplated numerous times switching my major or leaving university altogether😭. I'm not going to say the student pack changed my life, but I will say it gave me the tools I needed to succeed! In the past 3 years, I've taken a mix of courses; some required for my major and others as electives. I'm completing a business minor, so yes, I had a lot of Excel and Word documents in my past. My device is 4 years old and frankly doesn't have the best storage. A feature from the pack that has really helped me was GitHub Codespaces. Not going to lie, I feel like this is such a slept-on feature. I have a personal computer, but it has low storage. I move my files to the cloud, but even then, some node_modules take 200MB. Multiply that by 6, and you'd get 1.2GB, which shouldn't be too bad for a good computer. Guess mine isn't lol. Anyway, with Codespaces, I don't have to worry about the dependencies taking up too much space and can just focus on the task at hand. Additionally, I have 2 devices with different OS. I can work on my projects regardless of the device I have with me. Another cool thing, or set of features, was getting the Datadog pro account & access to Scrimba. Scrimba gave me a foot in the door of web development and data science. I love the nature of their courses, pacing, and the hands-on projects. You never have to leave your browser when taking their course, which in my opinion is pretty cool. Oh yes, how could I forget about Copilot! I literally spend 5-10 minutes coming up with documentation for complex projects. I can also insert something at a specific line of my markdown file. Copilot provides inline suggestions that make coding simpler. It's good at things that can be automated or generating boilerplate code or React components. I have a love-hate relationship, lol, because when it works, it's beautiful to see. But when it doesn't, it's like talking to someone who won't listen. I guess it also taught me how to communicate better and not make assumptions. So yeah, thank you GitHub for an amazing couple of years. I'm excited to see more🥂 |

🎉 Happy Birthday!Firstly, thank you for providing students with tools that help them in their future professional career. You make technology, and especially learning programming, more accessible to everyone. The student pack, which I still use today, has recently helped me to carry out a web project for my school (I can not attach the link because it is a private repository, but I attach a screenshot). Thanks to the pack, I was able to track the quality of my project with tools like Deepsource, plus I was able to program in my favorite IDE JetBrains. Last but not least, I would like to emphasize the importance of having a Copilot as a great friend. A fantastic tool to be able to document projects quickly, get help in a matter of moments, or even to improve the quality of the code we write every day. ❤ Thanks for helping and supporting those who are encouraged to discover the wonderful world of programing! |
