This commit goes through the code base and fixes issues identified by cargo with Rust 1.84 (the latest release). One change clippy is recommending which I did not make was changing the signature of: `into_dyn_view` to take ownership of self instead of a borrow because that has API implications and it felt out of place in a largely mechanical PR.
