Does Oppia make provisions for kids with learning kids. Like would a child with Dyscalcucia or dyslexia be able to use Oppia for his maths or English learnings? |

Hi @Marie-PM , While Dyslexia is a learning difference that mainly involves difficulty with reading. Dyslexia can affect writing and spelling, too. It can also impact math, Dyscalculia is a learning difference that causes trouble with making sense of numbers and math concepts. Suggest you use the following resources to get an inclination of an answer(s) However, I believe that oppia explains it generally under "...Oppia provides a novel and engaging approach to online learning that is specially designed to meet the unique needs of under-resourced learners around the world." Also it says there that "The Oppia Foundation accomplishes its mission through the creation and expansion of our online learning platform, Oppia, where we use story-based lessons and specialized features to engage the most underserved students around the world. So I guess the operative word here is "under-resourced learners" and not "special-health challenged" These are just my thoughts though and do not represent Oppia's |
