Let's say you have an event with the “Public” ACL preset applied. This means that ROLE_ADMIN can read and write and ROLE_ANONYMOUS can read.

  1. Open event details and navigate to access policy
  2. Check the write option for ROLE_ANONYMOUS
  3. The Save button will show up.
  • Hit Save.
  • Don't close the dialog.
  1. Uncheck the write option for ROLE_ANONYMOUS
  • You cannot save
  • The Save button is disabled

Refetch event ACL after saving

After successfully saving event ACL, refetch
event ACL from backend and update our state
accordingly. This should fix some niche issues,
such as described in opencast#353.
