It seemed like there was some hesitancy around whether _created was going to be used within the prom community based on the prom dev summit notes. @gouthamve might know better.

This would mean that if someone scrapes a metric without a _created timestamp with the prometheus receiver, it would be added on export.

Edit: I feel like we should probably make this opt-in behavior at the exporter level for now
