Description:

• make chlog-update VERSION=v0.68.0
• Bump version on versions.yaml
• Prepare contrib-base for version v0.68.0
• Commit last part of make multimod-prerelease
• Fix update-otel to work with rc modules
• make update-otel OTEL_VERSION=v0.68.0 OTEL_RC_VERSION=v1.0.0-rc2
