Yes, nobody should ever use master to install from - master is unstable and not suitable for common usage. The version numbers are intentional, explicit, and staying. |

Any reason not to use master branch URLs in the install instructions? GitHub redirects these raw URLs to the version specific source file, but
wgethas no problem handling this redirection and neither doescurlif used with the-Loption.This is something I've used in my own scripts (on OSX and Ubuntu) to make scripts more portable.
