This is already in progress, it's just been on the back burner the last week or so.

Building image on debian, with sysrepo based netconf support. See here.

This is a non-datacenter version of FRR. Can build a separate datacenter version (this is a compile time flag). This will include all routing protocols, SNMP, and MPLS support.
