I wonder if it would make sense to remove "Fedora" from this later title:
And then if add to the new section something like the following at the end: If you want to use the community binaries instead of the supported ones, they are available through the NodeSource binary distribution as outlined in the section titled " Debian and Ubuntu based Linux distributions, Enterprise Linux and Snap packages" |
I've pulled this into draft status while I update (probably over in nodejs.org first so I don't have to worry about formatting in HTML before mirroring the change over to this PR). For context we used to have instructions split by Linux distro, where NodeSource was the primary described method and installing from the distro provided repositories "an alternative", until nodejs/nodejs.org#1832. I'll pull the Snap information out into its own section in light of nodejs/admin#567. |
