Can the automatic emails be stopped from being sent in Azure Dev Ops when the tool runs? #899
-
We had a dry run migration yesterday and discovered that an Azure Dev Ops notification is sent to all participants, and including the @ tagging of users from the past also kicks off a new email notification to the affected users. For a large-scale migration, this will be super problematic. Has anyone else dealt with this issue or has insight they can offer? Thank you for your time |

Hmm... you can certainly turn off notifications in Admin.... but I am not sure you can disable @mentions... |

It's possible to turn off the @mention notifications, but please be careful: It will deactivate all @mentions in the whole organization (work items, wikis, PRs, ...) and you can't activate it via Azure DevOps web interface. |
