What does this Pull Request accomplish?
New versions of VeriStand have renamed
NI VeriStand.exetoVeriStand Project Explorer.exe. To continue launching the application, this change detects the version and corrects the .exe path accordingly.Why should this Pull Request be merged?
This enables testing in VeriStand versions greater than 2018 SP1.
What testing has been done?
Local tests against the Scan Engine and EtherCAT Custom Device repo were executed with this change. Also confirmed the VI version is saved for 2015 to avoid versioning conflicts.
