good morning, this implementation prevents upgrading to versions> 3.2.0 on Windows 8.1 even 32-bit (my case). It is clear that in 32-bit it is very likely that it is a slightly dated PC with windows 8.1 or 7. Moreover, and I conclude, the program keeps notifying me to update the client but that once the update is launched, it then refuses to install. This in an endless loop until I say "skip this version". I am asking for guidance. In windows 8.1 32 bits which latest version should I use at this point?

if I understand correctly, than https://github.com/nextcloud/desktop/releases/tag/v3.4.0-rc2 could run via Windows 8.1

@fakendry sorry I had missed your question
the latest release are working on every Windows with version 8.1 and latest
you may miss virtual files feature on Windows version lacking this feature

@ifrh yes we changed our desktop client to be able to run on Windows versions that are missing virtual files feature
