Netlify Git API

Turn your Git repository into a REST API.

Installation

Grab the binary from your platform from the latest release and place it somewhere in your PATH.

Usage

cd my-project
netlify-git-api users add
netlify-git-api serve

This will add a new user and start serving an API for your repo.

See netlify-git-api help for options and sub commands.

Using with netlify CMS

Make sure to configure the backend in your config.yml like this:

backend:
  name: netlify-api
  url: localhost:8080
