Sorry for the missclicks in github:)
My code is quite ugly, I have no real C++ skills, but the code works with the described joystick. If someone would like to replace the pulldown resistors on the axis pins in your adapter and add a RC circuit as in the original NE558 based gameport, I think it could also work with regular analogue joysticks.
Most likely someone will need to rewrite this code (to achieve a certain level of code quality), but it works as it is.
