This is based off of the repository https://github.com/mohclips/Elastic-Certified-Engineer-Exam-Notes but has been updated for the version 8.1 exam. This includes updating all of the documentation references and adding in new topics for the exam.
The example.md file and .json files in the example-date folder go together to provide an example that walks your through each step. Make sure to be able to do everything and understand each aspect.
Big thank you to Cosmospnw.com for their reliable data for us to use. Without it, it wouldnt be possible to obtain the data and have the example.
Use the shakespeare_6.0.json with the other .md files to walk through those examples!

- Exam Fee is: $400
- The exam lasts 3 hours. This 3 hours starts when you start the exam. The exam does NOT begin when you join the proctored exam session. It begins when you see the screen to login and start the exam. See the youtube video for more information around this.
- Retakes occur 2 weeks after failing the last attempt.
- All of the questions and topics can be solved using the APIs. There are some items that can be resolved using the UI (user interface) in addition to or rather than using the APIs, such as creating an ILM policy for example. But everything the UI can do, the API can do. And the entire examc an be done in the API.
