Start with the basics
Because Apps have a high level of interactivity, helping learners understand basic computational ideas is important. Luckily, we have lots of people in the community who are beginning to experiment with different ways to teach computational thinking while making.
Find the right resources
We are collecting different types of materials, built by educators, and tagging them so that we can find them easily:
appmaker-starter An app, activity or kit that requires Appmaker.
appmaker-thinking An app, activity or a kit that may or may not require Appmaker, but focuses on some of the cognitive understandings a maker needs to have around making for mobile devices.
appmaker-research An app, activity or kit designed to collect ideas, opinions or understandings about Apps and Appmaker from people using these tools and strategies.
