Wrong directories added to PATH after installation #3046

On a new Windows 11 machine, I installed fd, delta, and ripgrep using the winget import command, and none of them had the correct directory added to the machine's PATH variable. Since all three have the same problem, it seems like this would be a bug in winget, but I don't know enough about it to be confident. Where should I be reporting this issue, or if it's not a bug, how do I correct this behavior?

winget added these directories to PATH:

C:\Users\StephenJennings\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WinGet\Packages\dandavison.delta_Microsoft.Winget.Source_8wekyb3d8bbwe
C:\Users\StephenJennings\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WinGet\Packages\BurntSushi.ripgrep.MSVC_Microsoft.Winget.Source_8wekyb3d8bbwe

However, each of them has an additional nested directory where the executable lives, so none of them can be executed from a new shell:
