Scribus, Windows 64 bit and Windows 32 bit, version 1.5.8
owncloud client, Windows 64 bit, version 5.2.0
Repro Steps
Map \\wsl$\Ubuntu-22.04 to drive letter Z: (tested via "net use" and Windows Explorer)
Open certain windows programs (in this case: Scribus and Owncloud)
Try to add folder on mapped drive as sync folder (Owncloud) or open files from it (Scribus)
Expected Behavior
The file dialogue should list the WSL drive and allow to add/open the files/folders inside.
Actual Behavior
For Scribus: the mapped drive does not show up at all. A mapped network share on the local network does however show up there.
For Owncloud: the desired folder can be selected in the setup assistant. It does not allow however to add the folder as sync destination, complaining about missing write permissions.
Diagnostic Logs
Opening files from WSL in Windows Explorer or most other applications (tested: GIMP, Adobe Reader, Windows Photo Viewer, ...) works flawlessly.
