Currently, the Shortcut Guide in PowerToys displays only the default Windows shortcuts when the Windows key is held down. This feature request is to add an option to also include PowerToys-specific shortcuts in the Shortcut Guide, such as:
Win + Ctrl + L for Live Captions
Win + Ctrl + C for Color Picker
Win + Ctrl + T for Text Extractor
This addition would improve the user experience by giving immediate access to all relevant shortcuts in PowerToys directly in the Shortcut Guide.
Scenario when this would be used?
This feature would be particularly useful for users who use PowerToys regularly and rely on its various tools. With this enhancement, users could access a comprehensive list of shortcuts (both Windows and PowerToys) by simply holding down the Windows key, making it easier to remember and use the shortcuts without needing to look them up.
Supporting information
PowerToys includes various powerful features that enhance productivity, but remembering all the specific shortcuts can be challenging, especially for new users. Adding these shortcuts to the Shortcut Guide would provide a more cohesive experience and increase the accessibility of PowerToys features.
