# Setup Info Install vcpkg Run the following commands: - git clone https://github.com/Microsoft/vcpkg.git - ./vcpkg/bootstrap-vcpkg.sh - cd ./vcpkg MAC: - ./vcpkg install sdl2 glew glm nlohmann-json "joltphysics[core,debugrenderer,profiler]" WINDOWS: - ./vcpkg install sdl2:x64-windows-static - ./vcpkg install glew:x64-windows-static - ./vcpkg install glm:x64-windows-static - ./vcpkg install nlohmann-json:x64-windows-static - ./vcpkg install "joltphysics[core,debugrenderer,profiler]:x64-windows-static" You may need to git pull inside your vcpkg directory if you have no updated in awhile, and rerun the bootstrap if you cannot e.g. see joltphysics profiler Install cmake, navigate to project root Run: - cmake -S . -B build/ - make -C build - ./build/IgnisEngine # TODO: build everything from source with CMake so I don't need separate libs for each OS, remove vcpkg # many of these have cmakelists so can just clone them as git submodules and have them live in project, compile for each platform New Steps: Install vcpkg: git clone https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg.git Run the bootstrap: cd vcpkg; .\bootstrap-vcpkg.bat (or .sh) Add the vcpkg dir to your path
