Introduction

You can use JLCPCB to order your PCB. Go to https://jlcpcb.com to order your PCB's for only 2 USD plus shipment. This tutorial shows you how it is done.

Watch this video to see how I made and ordered my PCB's, soldered and tested them:

Step 1 - Design or download a PCB layout

To make a PCB, you first need to have a PCB layout, usually in the form of so called Gerber files. You can download many PCB designs from the Internet or design one yourself. You can find Gerber files of the PCB's that I designed here on GitHub or via my EasyEDA page. You can also design your own PCB's using editors such as Eagle, KiCAD or EasyEDA and use the export function to create the Gerber files. Read more about EasyEDA in this tutorial.

Step 2 - Upload to JLCPCB

To have the PCB produced by JLCPCB, you only need to upload the gerber file.

Step 3 - Set required options

After uploading the PCB, don't forget to set the required options. For my boards I used the option panelize by JLCPCB and entered the number of PCBs per sheet.

Step 4 - Save to cart and pay

After uploading the Gerber file and setting the required options, you can add the PCB to your shopping cart. If wanted you can add more items to the cart to combine the shipping costs. When ready you can select your shipment option and pay for your order. After payment the order is complete and your order will be reviewed before it goes into production.

When the audit fails you can correct it and if needed e-mail support for help. When the design goes into production, you can monitor the progress. Usually the board is ready for shipment within two days. If you choose a more expensive shipment option, the delivery is faster.
