Nice to hear, just joined discord ;) |
As an easy first step it would be nice to have maybe a redirected url so you could use the Gitlab Custom Issue Tracker integration. Maybe like |
Hello. Thanks for this post. Do you have an idea for the date of the integration Gitlab on Plane ? I mean, it will be avalaible maybe for this year ? Thx |
An idea: GitLab have a feature when it can reference other issue trackers (Settings / Integration). I couldn't make it work, it would be nice to have something like that, or even just a link to the sidebar. |
any update on this? would be an amazing addition to plane |
+1 in queue :) I believe this will bring much more users to plane. |
Hey everyone 👋🏻, It has been some time since our last update on this. Assuring you this is a top priority. We have spent time developing an architecture and a tech stack that is both scalable and makes it easy to contribute integrations. It will help our understanding of the right use cases if you could talk about how you see yourself using the GitLab integration and your experiences with other tools. Happy to get on a call. |
Also in queue! Just waiting this feature to migrate all planning to plane 😃 |
I am in the same boat as those above, my company just got funding and we are looking for the project management software we want to hose. Plane would be the choice if it had gitlab integration. Without it we probably wont adopt the software. If we had a better idea of when the feature might be expected I might be able to convince our team... |
Plus one. We are also still waiting for gitlab integration. Any news on timeframe would be helpful. |
Another one! |
Add another here, looking forward to getting this feature 👍 |
Same for me, just what I need to leave Jira. |
For some reasons can't use Jira too :( |
We have all our projects on gitlab |

Nice to see movement on dupe removals. Do you folks actually want help with this ? |
Folks, please stop adding |
It should be quite straightforward to adapt the existing GitHub integration to GitLab. #4692 exemplifies this for an OAuth client, which may be built upon, if merged. Yet the current licensing model restricts integrations to paying customers, why an open source contribution by the community seems unlikely, as developers would not be able to legally activate the feature they are intending to develop. |
GitLab OAuth login has been released. |
It is going to be just OAuth login then? This is great though! But I think most of us were also interested on the Issue Tracker integration |
I've opened a discussion about Free access to enterprise licenses for CLA signers (contributors) #5415. |
Integrating with GitLab or any other self hosted GitLab instance, would bring more users to plane.
