[epic] Learn Pages: Present and share better top initiatives and topics #568
Comments
@laurenwigmore we can also link this to #826 |
@nathenf this needs some finalization e.g. clear acceptance to be ready to go - but would be perfect for this autumn as part of beacons effort. |
@laurenwigmore yes let's do this |
@rufuspollock I'm wondering if we can close this issue... We have now developed 2 learn pages with a format and structure which is suitable for now and is shareable. We may not focus energy on this further for the time being, but will add learn pages as and when topics arise. |
@laurenwigmore i would say this is a pretty good focus for rest of this year 🙂 |
When I (a visitor via google / interested party) come across a topic i want to have a clear entry point with material well organzied
When one of us (e.g. Rufus) is talking to someone on a call I want to be able to quickly share a link to one of our key topics/proejcts where people can find the best material including podcasts, overview etc
SCQH
S: we already have a fair amount of material on specific topics/ideas e.g. fundamental wellbeing (waking up), second renaissance, great grasping/shadows of enlightenment, web3 (analysis of tech utopian aspirations) etc etc
C: but often scattered and not well organized and often not shared e.g.
Q: how can we efficiently improve that?
H: have landing pages for a given topic or initiatives where we integrate key material plus systematic sharing (e.g. twitter threads, identify interested audiences and reach out to them etc)

Looking back at #97
The difference between projects and learn pages are that project pages basically define a project we work on (which could be to make a learn page, course or do research) whereas a learn page is an outward facing resource to be used by our audience.
