I added submenu, GCViT(Chickpea) under Species/Cicer arietinum/. It doesn't show up in the dropdown from Species in main menu. Not able to figure out why? Need help!!
(Trying this in lis-dev first)

I see a "Species > Genome-wide views of genetic variants (SNPs) between chickpea accessions" that links to https://gcvit.cicer.legumeinfo.org/ --- is that it? If so, your browser might need a hard refresh...

Nathan,
This is going on in lis-dev now.
I want to have:
Species > Cicer arietinum > GCViT(Chickpea)
You can see an example that I have achieved it under germplasm:
Germplasm > GCViT(Chickpea)
The link goes to '/germplasm/gcvit/cicer', the drupalized and iframed path for https://gcvit.cicer.legumeinfo.org/.

But, I can't get anything to display under 'Species > Cicer arietinum >'

I see what you mean; in /admin/structure/menu/manage/main-menu, only one level of submenus under "Species" display; (which Germplasm > GCViT (Chickpea) is different in that it's directly under Germplasm; if "Species > Cicer arietinum > GCViT(Chickpea)" is similarly promoted to "Species > GCViT(Chickpea)", then it displays).

Perhaps legumeinfo_theme needs to be tweaked in a manner similar to
https://www.drupalgeeks.com/drupal-blog/how-render-bootstrap-sub-menus , but for I assume Nice Menus?
