Hmm... do you have your site configured so that the civicrm tables are separate from the Joomla tables? i.e. split into two dbs? If so, I think I need to make some adjustments to handle that better.

@FionNoir I have refactored the query code to use Civi functions which respect configurations where the Civi db is separated out. Can you please pull the latest version, test and confirm.
