Apologies @idstam for not seeing this PR until recently! This repo is being archived as the code has been moved to https://github.com/vmware-labs/vmware-customer-connect-sdk. The feature you are looking for is being worked on by a colleague, so the Tools and ISOs can be downloaded for a specific product, which due to the way customer connect is architected will involve passing in the DLG. Customer connect only hosts files under a product (binaries, drivers/tools, OSS and ISOs) or under patches, so there area plans to add workflows for these products to be found and downloaded using the CLI, which is the only consumer of this SDK AFAIK. |

This is a response to the issue in vmd: laidbackware/vmd#1
By setting product to "DownloadGroup", subroduct to an actual download group and version to a productId you can download files that are not part of the official product lists.
This allows us to download files even though they are not discoverable with the product listings.
It's not very nice to overload parameters like that, but it made for a very small change.
