Installation
The installation process is extremely intuitive and simple.
Avoid using '/reload' command or plugin managers like PlugMan. Those are known to cause issues and you may loose your data. Always shut your server down when installing or updating plugins.
- Once you've purchased ChatControl Pro, download its latest release.
- Drop it to you 'plugins/' folder as usual.
- Shut your server down and start it again.
The following image illustrates the first launch. You are notified when a new files are made to the plugins/ChatControl/ folder.
Pay special attention to the console on startup. It will tell you helpful information about the installation process, and also inform you what has changed when you update the plugin.
If you find the startup messages too intrusive, you can shrink the startup log by setting Silent_Startup to true in settings.yml. You will still be able to see changelog when setting files updates.
