How to use the ImageDiff

Hi!

I'm trying out the extension and saw in the Code that there are various options for diffs of images:

However, I didn't manage to get such a Diff view for images yet.
Within notebooks, I see the following:

On mouse-over, i can see the image source or switch to the text/plain output.

When right-clicking images in the sidepanel an selecting diff, I get a message that Diff is not supported for png (or jpg) files:

But it looks like the ImageDiff I would like to get is registered for png, jpg and jpeg extensions: https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-git/blob/main/src/index.ts#L251-L256

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Ok, while adding my enviroment details I realized this environment had v0.41.0 installed 🤦

After updating it works as expected 👍
