Release blocker 3.7.x. New xtd editors broken in frontend. WIP!!

Pull Request for Issue #12309

This PR is a start to solve the errors using the new xtd-editors (menu and contact) in frontend.
To test, edit an article in frontend and click on the Menu and Contact buttons to insert a contact or a menu item link into content.

After patch, remains some errors which need attention.
For contacts:

AND the Search Tools don't work.

For menu:
