Did a search and didn't find similar issue so i am posting.

Create and delete a tag.
Paste the expired url.
You will be redirected to a normal page which displays this message -> "No matching items were found."

GWMT returns 404 Soft error.

It's also been reported here http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=712&t=836170

Please if this is already fixed point me to the solution.

Thanks :)

Could you please provide step by step test instructions to reproduce this issue.

How to reproduce:

  1. Create a tag.
  2. View the tag from the frontend, single tag view.
  3. Copy the URL.
  4. Delete the tag from the backend.
  5. Check the tag URL we just deleted or refresh the page with the tag.

Instead of 404 Error page you will get an empty page.

Let me know if you need more info.
