- Update the plugin header version
- Update the plugin constant version
- Make sure changelog.md is up-to-date
- Update version and changelog in readme.txt
- Update version in README.md
- Run
gulp build - Test for site updating plugin (use FTP to update files)
- Test for site newly installing plugin (delete on Plugins page, add new plugin, and activate)
- Create pull request to merge
developintomaster - Tag release on GitHub
- Push update to WP.org trunk and tags
