This plugin requires google-api-python-client that doesn't support Python 3.x yet .
See this open ticket.

google-api-python-client has moved to github:
There is already an open issue about Python 3 support.
googleapis/google-api-python-client#3

I'm keeping this issue open till official google-api-python-client Python 3 support.
