This fork adds amuse support to YTMD-ch through the Music Widget API plugin! It is a partial port of ytmdesktop v1 "Remote Control API". Any other apps using this API to get song info should also work.
Note this is separate from the new api-server plugin. Amuse does not at present support such an API
(Note for Windows: YouTube-Music-Web-Setup-v3.6.2.exe is an installer, and YouTube-Music-v3.6.2.exe is a portable version)
Amuse Tutorial
- Download below the release according to your platform (you may have to press Show more releases)
- On MacOS You may find it easier to use the other dmg file if you get a "damaged" popup (We love Apple)
- Open it up and find Plugins in the top left to enable Music Widget API
- Continue with regular Amuse OBS setup
