The KNI kernel module, library and PMD has been removed since DPDK 23.11 release. This virtio-user based implementation is a replacement sulotion for KNI. By deault, the feature is disabled, and should be enabled explicitly by changing the value of macro CONFIG_KNI_VIRTIO_USER to 'y' in config.mk before compiling DPVS.
