Suggested locations:

  • Login
  • Server Settings
  • Login Settings specifically

Placing an element at least on the login screen would be a good idea!

And perhaps in the home screen / dashboard?

Should I add a setting to control this "promotion" of the new interface?

Yeah, likely some users would want to disable it. But, it would pay us to increase visibility of the new UI

Yes, I think the current server settings definitely need to link to PUI, especially to the new admin center, which has way more options in terms of configuring as the current settings page. (E.g. plugins and exclusively we could also advertise the template editor and machine management console)

And adding a temporary option to disable all of those links doesn't seem to be wrong.
