Since Hyde sites are generally rather lightweight and don't need much extra styling and scripts I when designing the resources directory felt it would be unnecessary to have directories for both JS and CSS so I named the directory frontend. However, since frontend usually also includes Blade views I thought a better term would be media as the compiled files are stored in the media directory.
However, when implementing it I felt that
assets
is a more appropriate name, thus CSS and JS is now stored in theresources/assets
directory.
