Is that the latest development build? We fixed one such issue recently.

There's a similar one being tracked though, #9263

@hrydgard
I am using the 1.3-475-g8d359a3 x64 version
I don't experience the same problem in the stable 1.3 x64 build

We already know it in #4626
it may happen someting, lower CPU clock(like 70MHZ) may help it.

Hm, I don't know if that's the same issue.. Could be I guess. The split/second one is another possibility - and I have a lead on that, I expect to solve it soon.

That's a terrible report @moura464 . You need to make better reports if I'm to care about them.

When does that happen? At startup? On what hardware? Have you checked that your ISO/CSO is correct?

A small note: jak and daxter have invalid address on replace_mempy
It maybe result to texture problems.
I just hope JPCSP emulator fix the problem first.
Anyway jak and daxter debug log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3OaSdeV0L8kUFlHa01hSUZPUU0/view?usp=sharing

@sum2012 Well i tried this game on V1.5-546-gc922ad1 and i didn't experience the same issue (limited testing though) however at one the game had a hiccup the fps dropped at that point the textures become funky again however after a second the textures turned normal.
I think when the game had a hiccup it was cause by 100% of cpu usage (because of a different processes started not ppsspp)

@Levan7 What device do you use ?

@sum2012 Well that was tested on W10 x64 but the CPU stress wasn't caused by the ppsspp it was caused with other software that decided to act up and made cpu hot 100% usage for few seconds.
The game got those textures.
However today i was playing around in linux and decided to give ppsspp a try, so the first thing i noticed is the performance the game runs really slow, the cpu usage is low as well. However at one point the game got the same funky textures as above (couldn't reproduce though)

Try starting the application with higher priority. In linux, use the nice -n -20 ppsspp command.

I tested this game with builds: 1.8.0 stable 1.8.0-15 1.8.0-30 1.8.0-38
in all builds the game crash in 90% of times, somethimes the texture bug.
build 1.8.0-39 this message appeared: "CRITICAL" "can´t have both THROUGH and USE_HW_TRANSFORM together! try to continue? click in yes appeared ASSERTION after click the game crash.
I used windows 10 - cpu i5 7200U - gpu 920mx - 8gb memory

I have no idea why you guys closed this issue it even happens in the latest build in 2020.....
this was report in 2017, PPSSPP needs to just take some time and tackle this issue for real.

This still an issue? This is related to Graphics Engineering?

If this is just about crashes, we should close as a duplicate of #4626.

If the texture thing still happens (it sounds like it does), a GE frame dump would be helpful.

Please don't just answer "Maybe" or "Perhaps", test or don't post :)

But also @benderscruffy , don't need to post in all old issues, just those that seem obviously affected by recent changes. This one, maybe...
