Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Requests to make it easier to debug within a Refinery image, and easier to run using ECS on Fargate.

Describe the solution you'd like

Use Ubuntu or Debian for base image

Describe alternatives you've considered

PR #343 added Alpine base image but that caused other issues, so it was reverted in #352
