In Teleport RDP session the fonts are partly hard to read. If you activate ClearType on the remote host, its getting a lot better.
MSTSC (font smoothing), mobaXterm, rdesktop, xfreerdp, etc. providing a clientside option, which activtates the ClearType on the remote site while connecting.

This was recently fixed upstream and will be available soon.
