This should be a simple matter of checking the user's participants.paypal_email record in the database and displaying it on the user's webpage. This simple change means that:

  • Users can verify when their PayPal address has been set.
  • Admins can do the same. :)

This came out of discussions in #2177 (Let @pjf do paypal links)

Now that we have the "Other Giving Options" section it seems natural to list PayPal there.

If and only if you let the user opt-in to that. Revealing previously private email addresses would be a huge no-no.

Yeah, this gets into the funding rules UI (#2299). So you link a PayPal email: what do you want to do with it? Do you want us to drain to it every week? Do you want us to display it as an alternate giving method?
