All of the other substitution strings are one word (with underscore separating individual words). 'enter units' is two words. As a convenience for editors like vi this too should be one word

I am not understanding the issue. Is it that much harder to type:

\enter\ units

instead of something like

\enter_units

?? If so, feel free to fix it and submit a PR.

My workflow is to move my way through the metadata file, replacing the "enter" entries with appropriate information. Being a vi user, I use the change word command "cw" for all of the other "enter" entries as they are all one word. I have to remember to use c2w for the units or I have a word to delete at the end. Just an annoyance. See the upcoming PR for the fix.

Oh, I would just have used c$. Or just done a global replace one time in the file. Your choice.
