The minify library by @tdewolff bundled with Hugo is an older version and has some bugs which have since been fixed in https://github.com/tdewolff/minify/releases (such as stripping the useful
translate="no"HTML tag).It'd be great to update the minify library so these issues are fixed.
What version of Hugo are you using (
hugo version)?v0.80.0/extended windows/amd64

Yes, the latest version of Hugo has some minify issues.
