Deadkeys locks cursor in place

Any deadkey that I press locks the cursor in place. No matter what I press after that the character under cursor changes but the terminal becomes unusable.

1. ghostty +version output
2. What keyboard layout?
3. Can you document keys to input to reproduce this?

Quick update: I've just tested the new comunity deb package in ANOTHER computer, with ANOTHER keyboard and layout. The problem happened again. Everytime I press a dead key, the cursor locks in place as shown in the gif before.
