Installation

This software designed to run from the SD card, inserted to device. It doesn't change anything on the internal storage of the device, you can any time pull SD card and continue using OEM firmware.

SD card images are available on the Releases page.

SD card should be at least 1GB.

Note: Device might feeze some times if your SD card is slow. It's better to use a faster card.

Installation procedure:

  • Download sdcard.img.zip
  • Unzip it
  • Burn to SD card using balenaEtcher or Rufus
  • Insert a card to device and press power key.

After burning, SD card will contain 2 partitions: BOOT (fat32) and rootfs (ext4, not visible under Windows).

On first boot application creates one more partition: DATA (fat32) for all remain free space of the SD card. This partition is visible under Windows and uses for storing configuration database (params.db), recordings, messages, screenshoots. If DATA partition is not visible - open partition manager and assign a letter to the partition.
