Why is actions/checkout required for API keepalive? #48

I was under the impression I could just throw this action directly into its own job, but it seems like it doesn't work under default conditions without actions/checkout in a preceding step. |

@dktapps checkout is required to calculate the last commit date and time, to prevent calling the GitHub API unnecessarily. |
